Arts Park LA Design Competition
This 60-acre project, adjacent to
the Los Angeles River in the Sepulveda Flood Basin, responds to the site's
past, present, and projected conditions. The dual functions of ARTS PARK LA
and flood control are separated topographically at the predicted 100-year
flood plain. The two landscapes of the park, the "cultivated" and
the "natural," refer to the site's history as an agrarian and agricultural
landscape.
