53rd Street
The duplex and simplex units, by means of their shaped façade have views westward to the Hudson River (as in a "bay-window") and their privacy ensured though the use of a glass film that renders viewing from adjacent units translucent in lieu of transparent. The project has an informal quality that seems to step down the street. The diversity of housing types offered avoids the "cookie-cutter" aspect of much residential housing. The interiors are designed as lofts rather than apartments, with bedrooms which are designed for privacy.
